Hey Guys. Great Show!
I’m a first time listener and loving your show. It is fantastic! so very informative of what’s around in technology today.
In response to Jody with the online shopping, It has now hit the Aussie supermarkets as well..I have a friend who does all food shopping online, pays for it online and has it delivered to home or office.
With technology changing everydy, I honestly believe this will be the only way we will be able to do our food shopping in the future. That all supermarkets will become a local storeroom or warehouse factory and not a retail walkin store. Perhaps not our time, but not to far away.
What else I find intersting, is that, one of our major supermarkets has closed at least 8 out of their 6 checkout aisles and have changed them into a self service checkout point. With only one person there to help you.
Ok, we have accepted this online shopping for other types of retail purchases, However, supermarket shopping for food and fresh food items on line. Hmmmm! not sure! I know it is only a small part of changing technology in the making, However, I’m curios, what do you guys think about this and perhaps your listeners..we all have to eat?
